Coburg Aquarium is a family business that has been in operation for over 30 years. Starting locally in Coburg in the 1970’s by the Long family, Coburg Aquarium has grown into Australia’s premier Aquarium store. While Coburg Aquarium, was purchased by the Kirby family in 2007, we have retained

most of the staff, processes and customer service values that the Long family instilled into the business over many years.

Our service team can provide services from installation, maintenance to complete relocation of existing tanks. We can upgrade and repair where needed in a quick and efficient door-to-door service. With over 30 years experience we can handle almost any job.

The fish room is one of the largest in the country with over 300 display tanks. Coburg Aquarium is a licensed importer, which allows us to range and stock the widest range of fish in Australia. Our fish team enables us to help with any health or environmental issue the aquarium owner may have. We can test water, inspect livestock and advise on how to improve their health and the environment that they live in.

No question is too silly or problem too small for us to be able to help you in experiencing the joy of owning and keeping fish or reptiles.
Our new reptile room provides a large range of livestock and equipment needed to begin and maintain reptiles. Our reptile team are able to advise you on all aspects of obtaining a licence and establishing your new reptile at home. From complete set-ups to spare parts we are your one stop reptile shop.
