The Ocellaris Clownfish are suited for the beginner aquarist. It is a peaceful and beautiful species commonly kept in community saltwater aquariums. This fish is popular amongst all aquarists for its colour, ease of care, and peaceful demeanor.
This species is native to reefs within the Indo-Pacific Region.

Feeding:
Ocellaris Clownfish are omnivores so their diet should consist of a variety of foods such as brine shrimp, freeze dried & frozen foods, dry flakes and pellets. They are not scavengers, so will not pick at algae on rocks therefore provide plant based foods in the form of spirulina & flakes.

Lighting:
Replicate natural conditions with artificial lighting (8-10 hours of light every 24 hours.) Strong aquarium lights will not deter your fish, though hiding places are appreciated to retreat from light occasionally.

Filtration & Water Movement:
Ocellaris Clownfish require good filtration and water quality. Clownfish cannot tolerate any traces of ammonia or nitrite.
